CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi said that no police officer have the right to check your phone.
The police Force Public Relation Officer (FPRO) stated this on his twitter handle that any police officer who checks your phone is not a policeman but rather a scavenger.
“No policeman have the right to check ones phone anywhere except the phone is an exhibit in a case under investigation and the phone must have been marked exhibit. Any policeman who does that is not a policeman but rather a scavenger.” The CSP said.
