In a sweeping cabinet reorganization, President Bola Tinubu has dismissed five ministers and reshuffled ten others in a strategic move aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of his administration. Alongside these changes, seven new individuals have been nominated to join the ministerial ranks.
Additionally, Tinubu has appointed Sunday Akin Dare as Special Adviser on Public Communication and Orientation, placing him under the Ministry of Information and National Orientation.
The ministers removed from their positions include Barr. Uju-Ken Ohanenye (Minister of Women Affairs), Lola Ade-John (Minister of Tourism), Prof. Tahir Mamman, SAN, OON (Minister of Education), Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo (Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development), and Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim (Minister of Youth Development).
